About the Rattery
Hello and welcome to The Breakfast Bunch Rattery (tBBR), located in North Seattle, WA. My name is Brandon and I have been breeding rats since 2002. I first fell in love with hairless and dalmatians, those old lines will always be my first loves. But, now I focus on breeding dwarf, some color points, and roans. Someday I hope to have standard sized hairless back in the rattery. All of my rats are fully pedigreed and come from wonderful well known Northwest lines and amazing Ratteries. I keep a smallish rattery, ranging in 30-40 rats at any given time, sometimes more. I breed 4-6 litters a year, sometimes more. I have loved rats for many, many years, and to this day I continue to learn and grow as a better breeder and a better person, because of these furry little creatures. They bring me such joy, and love, without any question. They are like my children and I love them as such. I always strive for temperament and health above all in my breeding plans and in my litters, with markings, colors and show quality being the bonuses of genetics. Point being, I only and always breed amazing rats with awesome personalities. I want people, my adopters, to enjoy and love their rats as much as I do, so every baby needs to be exceptional in their temperament, and in health. tBBR is not a business and is maintained in our home, visitations are not allowed.
I also have a rat family, filled with people and support. RatsPacNW is the Pacific Northwest's rat club, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. We have shows throughout the year, both standards shows and educational fun events. There is a lot of information, including the upcoming events on the club website.
If you are looking to add another furry friend to your home, then look on my current litters or upcoming litters pages. We can find the right babies for you. I always adopt my rats in same sex pairs, unless you have proof of a same sex rat at home that is about the same age. There are NO exceptions to this. Also look at the adoption information and links on rat care. If you are interested in adoption, then please contact me for an adoption application. I may not always have babies available, in which case I can put a potential adopter on a waiting list or send them information on another rattery that may have babies available. Rescuing rats is also very rewarding, and there are always a lot of rescue ratties, including babies, looking for forever homes. Consider adopting from a local ratty rescue, if babies aren't available from a local breeder.
Thank you for visiting tBBR, and I look forward to adopting to some of you very soon.
The Rattery's Facebook page is updated more frequently with current litters and available babies, due to the easy access. I try and get on here when time allows, as these updates are a bit more time consuming!
